Background to health inequalities experienced by the LGBTQIA community
Terminology, language and communication in relation to inclusive healthcare practices
Specific considerations for caring for trans* and gender diverse individuals
Referrals, guidelines and support for providing care to trans* and gender diverse people
Our speaker for the evening will be SE Thames Faculty very own Dr Duncan Shrewsbury. The evening is complimentary and open to all primary care team staff in all roles. We hope to improve access and care for people from the LGBTQ community across our Faculty patch. This session will be delivered via Zoom.
