Macmillan Primary Care Cancer Care Review Course - Dates


This course is open to clinicians in Kent and Medway who work in Primary Care and have a passion for supporting people living with cancer.








The course runs over 2 half days (delivered virtually) and 2 full days (delivered face to face ) at the Digital Innovation Centre in Folkestone.


You will need to attend all four dates to complete the course:


  • 16th March 9.15-12.15 (Virtual)

  • 26th April 9.30-16:30 (Digital Innovation Centre)

  • 25th May 9.15-12.15 (Virtual)

  • 23rd June 9.30-16.30 (Digital Innovation Centre)


Aims of the course:

  • To empower clinicians involved with long term condition review to complete cancer care reviews for people living with cancer.

  • Learn about cancer prevention, risk factors and signs and symptoms.

  • Reflect on the effect of cancer on the human body.

  • Explore the immediate and long term effects of cancer treatment.

  • Learn about all of the services and support mechanisms available to support people.
