To help you connect with others in these unprecedented times, have sight of different perspectives and ask questions; I am pleased to invite you to a virtual consultation with 4 of your peers who will be sharing their views on: “Post Covid-19, the New Normal: What perspectives for the management of long-term conditions?”

What will be discussed?

The session will be chaired by Professor Mike Baxter - Medical Therapy Area Expert, Sanofi Diabetes. He will introduce you to the following topics and experts: Professor Naveed Sattar – Professor and Honorary Consultant of Metabolic Medicine at the Institute of Cardiovascular & Medical Sciences, University of Glasgow

Sharing COVID-19 experiences: learning from other countries

Professor Michael Feher – Consultant Physician in Diabetes and Clinical Lead for lipid, diabetes and hypertension services at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital

Managing patients with long term conditions through teleconsultations

Professor Katharine Barnard – PhD, Chartered Health Psychologist

Simple principles to maintain HCPs and patients’ mental health during a crisis period

Each session will be approximately 10 minutes and will be followed by an interactive Q&A.

This meeting will be held on ZOOM on the 17th June at 6pm.

  2. You will be requested a password: newnormal

You can do this from a phone, tablet, laptop or computer as long as you have good internet connection. We will put all participants on mute and turn off your camera but you will be able to ask questions by typing them in the chat. We will require everyone to provide their name, role and place of work for our register and you will be able to request a certificate of attendance afterwards. The meeting will be recorded and we will share the recordings with you afterward.
