This course is designed to develop HCSWs and HCAs and to help prepare them for progression into a Nursing Associate role.
During this time they will be supported to develop academic writing and research skills in order to complete an assessed piece of work at the end of the programme.
At the end of the 12 weeks, learners are required to submit an electronic poster on a health promotion or health improvement topic, plus a 500 word piece of reflective writing. Successful completion of both parts of the assignment is required to pass the module, awarding the learner 15 credits at HE Level 4.
