GPN CARE Programme Cohort 2 engagement event

GPN CARE Programme Cohort 2 engagement event

For GPNs NAs and Nursing Associates

8th September 12-1pm

We would like to invite you to participate in the Kent & Medway CARE programme.

For Cohort 2, we have secured an exciting opportunity for 25 x GPNs, Nursing Associates, Health Care Support Workers in primary care to take part in this nationally led programme.

CARE is a learning and development programme that empowers general practice nurses and other primary healthcare professionals to play a key role in their primary care network, to shape services based on population health needs and to strengthen their leadership. Focussing on wellbeing and building and harnessing resilience, the programme uses digital technology to connect primary care professionals and to support joined-up, multi-professional working.

The engagement event on 8th September 12-1pm is an opportunity to meet other primary care professionals in Kent & Medway, to understand more about the delivery and opportunities of the CARE programme.

We hope you can join us - to find out about Cohort 2 commencing 5th October and share learning from our first cohort.

To register your interest and for more information, please email care@napc.co.uk

Take a look at the attached testimonials to see what our former CARE participants think about the programme and how it has helped their development.

You can find out more about the CARE programme below and in this video highlighting why the CARE programme was developed, how it supports population health improvement, and the value it brings to primary care.

This is an excellent opportunity for networking across primary care roles and gaining insight into your local system. The programme can help retain this crucial workforce within practices and PCNs through developing skills, and wellbeing and resilience, to drive positive changes in their patients, their colleagues, and their system.

The CARE programme is delivered by the National Association of Primary CARE (NAPC), consisting of 8 x 2-hour sessions run weekly, focusing on both population health management, and wellbeing and resilience.

The CARE programme is suitable for all colleagues across Primary Care (both clinical and non-clinical): and future cohorts will be open to GPs, Practice Managers, General Practice Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, and additional roles.
