Finding Peace in a Frantic World
Starts: Thursday 28th April 2022 for 8 Weeks
Venue: Ivy Court Surgery in Tenterden OR online (hybrid)
Open to all, this course costs £150 with a concessionary rate of £50 for those on low incomes, and is being taught by one of our team of professional and accredited Mindfulness teachers, Laura Acosta.
About the Course
Sometimes it might feel that life is defined by frantic busyness, anxiety, stress and exhaustion. The Finding Peace course is designed to help participants to settle their minds and enhance their natural happiness and contentment using mindfulness meditation.
Mindfulness has been shown to help with stress, anxiety, sleep problems, bereavement and mild to moderate depression etc. It is now one of the NHS's 5 ways to wellness.
This course introduces participants to mindful awareness through a range of practices that encourage us to bring curiosity to our experience and befriend the body. The sessions are a mix of mindfulness practices, input from the teacher and opportunities to share in small groups and the group as a whole.
