Kent and Medway – Social Prescribing Link Worker Support Programme


Exciting Opportunity for you to help build our social prescribing community


Our aim is to develop a sustainable programme of training and development support for SPLWs.


The programme will include the development of peer support, induction and CPD, training and

development, managerial supervision, access to information and resources and will to create a progressive learning culture within the community of SPLWs across the Kent and Medway area.

The NHS Kent & Medway Team would like to invite you to join the Kent & Medway Social Prescribing Link Worker Support Programme Network. We have arranged our network meetings each month for 2023 on MS Teams as follows:


30 th March 10.00 – 11.30

27 th April 10.00 – 11.30

25 th May 10.00 – 11.30

22 nd June 10.00 – 11.30

27 th July 10.00 – 11.30

31 st August 10.00 – 11.30

28 th September 10.00 – 11.30

26 th October 10.00 – 11.30

30 th November 10.00 – 11.30


We would really welcome your participation in our new network and by getting involve you will have the opportunity to:

  • share your training and support needs and priorities

  • support the further development of peer support

  • help to improve induction of SPLWs

  • get involved in building our SPLW community

  • participate in action learning

  • get regular updates on national and regional social prescribing developments
