What is South Asian Heritage Month?
South Asian Heritage Month (SAHM) runs from 18th July to 17th August every year. It raises the profile of British South Asian heritage and history in the UK through education, arts, culture and commemoration, with the goal of helping people to better understand the diversity of present-day Britain.
Join us for an opportunity to learn more about the rich culture of the UK understanding the importance of this month with guest speakers, a panel to look at how information provided by the mental/health services can cater better for South Asian communities, music and a quiz with prizes to be won.
